This notice explains how Kenda Properties Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects and uses the personal information you give us through kendaproperties.co.uk, and the rights you have over it.

Who we are

Kenda Properties Ltd is the data controller for the information you share with us. We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15922894. If you have any questions about this notice or your information, email us at contact@kendaproperties.co.uk.

What we collect

When you request an introduction through our website, we collect:

• your name, email address and phone number
• the amount you’re considering investing, if you choose to tell us
• the best time to call you, if you choose to tell us
• any message you send us

If you download our free guide, we collect your email address so we can give you the guide and keep a record of who has requested it. We only send you marketing emails if you tick the box to ask for them.

If you buy or download a Kenda Academy product, including our free calculator, the order is handled by Payhip, which collects your name, email address and payment details to process the order and deliver your download. Payhip shares your name, email and order details with us so we can support you with your purchase. Your card details are handled by Payhip’s payment providers and are never shared with us.

If you sign up to The Kenda Briefing, our monthly email, we collect your email address to send it to you. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email or by emailing us.

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies on this website. We store a small note in your browser so the free guide box doesn’t appear again after you’ve closed it.

How we use it

• To contact you about your enquiry and arrange a call.
• To send you The Kenda Briefing, if you’ve signed up for it.
• To deliver and support any Kenda Academy product you buy.
• To keep a record of our conversations with potential investors.
• To meet our legal obligations, for example identity and anti-money laundering checks if you go on to invest.

Our legal basis

We use your information because you’ve asked us to contact you, which is in our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and to take steps you request before entering into an agreement with us. Where we must keep records by law, we do so to meet our legal obligations. Where you buy a product, we use your information to perform our contract with you. We send The Kenda Briefing only to people who have signed up for it, based on their consent. We never sell your information.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with trusted services that help us run the business, such as our website host and form provider (Netlify), our online shop provider (Payhip) and our email provider (Google Workspace), and with our professional advisers, such as our solicitor or accountant, where needed. These providers only use your information on our instructions. Some of them may store data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

If you don’t go on to invest, we keep your details for up to two years from our last contact and then delete them. If you do invest, we keep records for as long as the law requires, which is usually at least six years after our agreement ends.

How we protect it

Your information is stored in secure, password-protected systems, and only the people who need it to handle your enquiry can access it.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• ask us to correct anything that’s wrong
• ask us to delete your information
• object to or ask us to limit how we use it

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us before going to the ICO.
